Just got back from Vegas...couple thoughts

-Memorial weekend is not the time to go. Lot of ghetto government employees out there

-Poker is by far the best bet out there these days. Still plenty of soft games and drunk players to be found.

-The smell of pot is everywhere now.

-The hottest girls are at the Cosmopolitan. There is a main walkway through the casino and lobby that will blow your mind after sundown.

-Strip clubs have gone down hill.

-To add to the ever increasing scam by casinos, blackjack paying 6 to 5 is pretty much default on the strip. It isn't written on the layout anymore, it's in small print at the bottom of the digital table sign. I played a $25 table for awhile, got a blackjack, and the dealer said "blackjack pays 6 to 5" as she was paying me. Joke

-Sat down to a video poker machine at the bar in the Wynn. Bartender comes over and asks if I would like something to drink. I just asked for a coke and chose a game to play. Bartender comes over and says "That will be $5.41". I didn't tell her to penetrate off, but I said, "Just take it back, I'm not paying $5 for a coke" and cashed out.

-Never thought I would say this but downtown Vegas is overall the better spot now. Of course the games are better, but it also has more of the old Vegas party feel than the strip. On the strip you can't win and then have to pay $9 at coffee bean for a breakfast burrito. Next time I go I think I'll stay at the Golden Nugget.

Couple other things I noticed this trip:

Almost all water fountains have been removed from the strip most likely to get you drinking or paying $5 for a coke. You could drink tap water in the restroom but it's warm.

Do not rent a car from a company at the hotel. Even though it's the same company at the airport, prices are at least twice as much I guess because they pay the hotel to be there.

One of the best games I found on the strip was 100 hand deuces wild at the Cosmopolitan. For some reason the lowest denomination had the best payout schedule of 99%, but if you increased the bet the pay schedule reduced to about 96% payout. May have been oversight by the slot techs, but it was like that on all 3 machines I played. Can't understand a better payout for playing less though.

Vegas is awesome but getting boring...it seems like the city is getting old and sagy...nightlife is not changing, the place was much better before...why not inviting some hot asses from Russia? There is no place like Zavist topless bar in Saint-Petersburg with a girl-on-girl show and whiskey shots)) all the girls are young and sexy, the show is amazing, why not making something similar in Vegas?..

And from the Airport to the strip for less then $10.........save the rental car fee, and Uber.

Had 2 dinners while in town last week. Steak house at MGM & Gordon Ramsey spot. Easily $150 a person with drinks. Those memories last a lifetime. Fukin guys worrying about where to get free water
