I played a lot through high school. Not much anymore, was decent enough to play select ball but not HS.

Varsity all 4 yrs, walked on the practice team at Rutgers which is D1 by default even though terrible.

Used to dunk but dunking is not significant. I've played with plenty of guys that can't dunk but would dominate a game

Speaking of the playing days, there's dahntay jones in garbage time now. I used to play with him at Rutgers before he bolted for duke. He was a phenomenal athlete just ridiculous

Play pickup at my gym a few times a week....pretty good competition, mostly 20-40 year olds, some played in high school, a few small college ballers

I played baseball and football in high school but grew up playing pickup basketball my whole life, just never played in school

I like to run the point...good handles, great vision and passer, can drive.....shot is hot and cold, solid defense. I'm more athlete than fundamentals for sure

Nah. Making an uncontested standstill 15 footer when you're not tired means nothing. If you play basketball you should be able to make that shot 7 of 10 times minimum.

No foul shots in pickup ball anyway.

yes..... but I wasn't a very heavy guy .... got pushed around alot by bigger dudes..

mostly played guard ..... I can run fast....I still jog 4-5 days a week

Never played real college ball just lots of pick up, intramural leagues, now I'm 50 pounds heavier and 15 yrs older so grabbing rim or dunking a tennis ball is a challenge. Having little kids now I can't say I've played any ball last 3 years. Probably have a heart attack running full court!

Yep Father Time caught up with me faster than I thought. I still remember playing 5-6 years ago and having 5-10yr younger guys driving around me no problem thinking damn... this is why all the old guys always looked so slow when I was younger...Sucks and made me not want to play
