A lot of the underlying numbers say that Sama is actually getting very unlucky this year and that he will eventually break out. I have read this in a number of different places.

I woukd have to think that the Nats will have everyone on them today.....I would just be careful with this one.

Also, not sure if Gio's health issue was resolved. Ha came out after 5 innings last game and in that game they got clobbered.

Samardzija is pitching some of the best baseball of his career this month. He's got 44/1 K/BB (yes that FOURTY FOUR TO one) in May and has only given up 33 hits in 36 IP. With the exception of a few bad innings he's been locked in.

That said I like this Ranger Finder guy he's been as sharp as they come on SBR past few months. Can't fault him for taking the better team in better form at + here.

RF with respect to Hill he's been tough guy to back AND fade. His stuff and creativity with delivery is still ++ but he's had some control issues (especially in that prior STL game) where he just couldn't find his release point. Not shocking for a guy off a DL stint.

Couldn't agree more with almost everything you said. As I said above, Sama really deserves the better fate than what he has been dealt.

That being said, I still grabbed Nats +.5 ff. Too good to resist. I just wish that Ryan Zimmerman (1 for 19 lifetime) could hit Sama.

It's okay if you're on the other side of any game. That's what makes the market. What I do is bet +EV in any sport that I bet. Opinions will always be on the other side, even from other sharps. Numerous times during the year I see two sharp groups on opposite sides of a game, yet, both groups turn a profit at the end of the year. It just depends on the type of information and numbers you use to make decisions.
