Yea I would take Pens I guess but then again you never know when the puck might ricochet off someone's skate into the net in this sport.

Sitting on a Nashville future to win the Cup here. Not touching the series, but I think Preds can get it done in 6 games.

Pittsburgh -170 at full juice, you might find a reduced -160.

The loss of Johansson can't be understated. They closed it out with Anaheim in solid style, but teams can overcome a loss like him for a few games....and then inevitably they feel the loss.

I have a close friend who predicted a Pens/Preds final before the playoff started, but he had Preds winning. Since the injury he has changed him mind and gone Pens.

Myself, the price on the Pens is too high and the price on the Preds just isn't enticing enough. Way better to bet the individual games here.....I believe Pens will come out and hammer them first game. If Preds win one on the road, game two will be a solid price.

Crosby is like the 4th best player on the pens anyway.
Pens record is 65% win without him.

I do think Preds have a solid chance at this even without Johannson. Pens are banged up too; they almost lost to the Senators who are really nothing that special.

Preds are better than them in every way and they got Rinne, I'm not making any series bets. If Preds lose game 1 I'll put a small something on them for the ML and series before game 2.

For now I'm on the under 5 1/2

Pens aren't losing. Preds are a Cinderella team. Midnight will strike eventually.

I'm really excited for this series and looking forward to Monday night big time. Johannson being out is definitely a big blow, but Nashville will give the pens a serious run for their money. Nashville is skating so well right now and they are the hottest team in hockey. They've been underdogs in every series, starting with the Blackhawks mind you. Pens just came off back to back 7 game series and that is really tough on the body. Nashville will take one of these games in Pittsburgh, most likely being game 2. And pound the under for game 1. 5 1/2 is too high under these circumstances. Game 1 of the Stanley cup with Nashville defense? Give me the under all day

With all due respect, you've been a terrible capper over the last few months. 5.5 goals is too high for the caliber of goalies in play and is simply a gift. Not to mention teams play tight in the cup, nevermind game 1 of the cup. Lol.

The Cup has been handed out 89 times to the champion of the NHL since 1927. For the first time, two American coaches will face off in the final when the Nashville Predators' Peter Laviolette goes up against the Pittsburgh Penguins' Mike Sullivan.

It's just the seventh time the Cup will be won by a U.S.-born coach.

"Having two American coaches lead their team in the Stanley Cup Final highlights the continued growth and evolution of the sport in our country," USA Hockey executive director Dave Ogrean said. "We have more coaches in our country than ever before, and two of our very best are in the final."

Laviolette and Sullivan are among six U.S.-born current coaches in the NHL, along with the Blue Jackets' John Tortorella, Red Wings' Jeff Blashill, Devils' John Hynes and Islanders' Doug Weight.
