This is my first serious year betting baseball. One thing I learned: stop making plays after all star break. I'll know that for next year lol

This 1st time in many years I didn't pack it up after the asb. Thought I made a big mistake the 1st week or so but now that I've cut way back on sides and focused mainly on totals things been going pretty good. For me sides the issue after the break my totals have remained consistently pretty strong.

Yea that why I don't like it. I crave and thrive off the early season uncertainty. Where every night there a handful of dogs that have just as good a chance of winning or better than the fav. I don't like when the favs start rolling and the juice gets out of control. Hence why I shift my focus to mainly totals. At this point books have finally figured out the lines and there just isn't as much value to be had imo.

Im the same way Banker but there is just no other way. Last couple of years my brother been betting those favs non stop and i kept losing with dogs. Not this year im not.

I hear ya. I've been selectively playing sides and most them been favs, not eating big juice but can't even remember last dog I bet. Lol. Well I take lot of plus money totals but not really the same as we talking +105- +110.. seems dogs pre all star, favs post all star kinda the way it is, although dogs have been barking more recently fact is they just not easy bets to make like the dogs before the break.

This "early season uncertainty" is one of the main reasons, why I was so surprised,that in APRIL,the books had teams favored @ -200 or more!!.......Did wrote a post about this a few days ago.............best of luck guys!!
