I think all responding police officers should have shoot to kill authority when police chases begin to put the public safety in danger..

You gotta think a car is a deadly weapon and just as dangerous as a gun in the wrong hands.. I see no difference.. I just see innocent people getting hurt in these police chases..

This one always stuck out to me. Here is a criminal on the run who commits suicide by crossing into the oncoming traffic lane right into a Supra.

This one happened a few months ago, not far from where I live. A 22 year old running from the cops T-bones an innocent family and kills the husband, wife, and their kid.

Unless the person being chased had just done something incredibly serious and is a known threatthese clown ass cops don't need to engage and escalate the whole thing into the danger for innocents it becomes.. don't know this particular situation but we just had one here in stl not far back that ended up hurting several and killing a kid and while I am in no means giving the suspect a pass the police shouldn't get one either. They have helicopters and tons of other means to where the suspect won't make it long Without them "protect and serving" by going balls to the wall and all hell breaking lose..
