General thoughts and updates on Rams

O line is improved but not super deep.
D is good and might be great but the Aaron Donald hold out is still going on. I am a little concerned that he won't be in camp by the time the season starts and will be playing catch up in Wade's new schemes. Mark Barron who was excellent last year hasn't played in the preseason as far as I know either. They seem to be solid at DB
Receiving corps is night and day compared to last year. Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp will likely be the starting 3. Tayvon Austin is still banged up and everyone is pretending like they didn't give him a bunch of money. He's probably gone next year.
Gurley looks like he might be running harder. Last year he gave up not that I blame him.
TE's - we'll see. Two big guys who supposedly can catch.

The buzz is that McVay is the real deal but we'll see if they start losing.

So far I like what I see. We will see how they fare against the Chargers tomorrow. I believe both teams will play starters for the first half. Mannion is a pretty solid back up and the Chargers b/u's are a fukkin grease fire so if you like to degen bet pre season NFL, there you go. Rams 2nd half.

In watching the pre-season, I know it's dangerous to try to make judgments. At risk of looking bad, I'll make 2 predictions:

* Arizona + Carolina on the rebound.

I'm still not sure why Arizona under-performed last year. Arians mentioned that they overworked Palmer in last off-season. Cardinals beat ATL, they look pretty hungry to me.

Carolina based on Cam being in much better shape. He lost 20 lbs. Look back at 2016 results. Cam took a beating in 3rd game vs MINN. Rivera made terrible (non)decision to leave him in game and take 6 sacks. Wasn't same player in 2nd half of season. Carolina offense should be much livelier this year.

Andrew penetrate out for week 1 but he was pulled off the PUP list so he's most likely going to return sooner rather than later

Hands down best defender cornerback, vontae davis is also expected to miss a few weeks to start the season

Colts expecting to start Scott tolzien at qb week 1 and signed Stephen Morris as the backup qb. If ur wondering who the eff that is, just take the rams in week 1 ATS maybe buy it down to less than the hook

Rams went from +3 underdog to -3.5 favorites after this slow developing news

Newly acquired Sammy Watkins will no longer have vontae davis shadowing him as the rams look to open their first home game with a win against a banged up indy squad featuring a 40 yr old frank gore.

Indy also missing center ryan Kelly as well. Their best player (Andrew phuck), best defender (vontae) and best lineman (Kelly) all out for week 1.

Indy defense was alrdy garbage to begin with, it's going to be very difficult to imagine they win on the road against anyone not named the jets or bills (who happen to play each other) let alone a young and hungry team rdy to kick off their franchise move with a W

Colts signed and intend to start jacoby brisett over Scott tolzien at qb this week. Brisett can move and make throws tolzien can't but it's hard to say if it will translate

Vontae davis still out, ryan Kelly still out and of course no Andrew luck

Arizona without David johnson but still a touchdown and a hook favorites this week.

Seems like action moving the line up, not as confident in fading indy as last week

Cowboys info from Dallas. T will and Butler both banged up. Zeke running fine. Scandrick may actually play after surgery on monday. Dak was rusty last week and red zone play calling was suspect. Hard to say how the Denver game will be. The giants D was supposed to to be legit but Dallas moved the ball fine, just could not get in the end zone. Denver put up about 140 rush yards vs Chargers and looks to do that again to keep their qb ahead of the chains. He can make short throws all day if they can run. Dallas had an easy go on defense last week with the giants lack of a running game. I think this one gives Dallas D the trouble they are expecting and Denver gets the W. Moderately low scoring game , doubt both teams will get in the 20s looks like a 21 17 Denver game or something like that. Just an opinion From Dallas. BOL

Looks like he will be able to drag out all year and nothing will happen till potentially next season, kinda figured he could do this like Brady did.. Havnt heard anything so think there still whatever NFL filed to try and override the stay but doubt that works he should be playing until his day in court which will take months and months.

Selling your team short Dallas run game will punish donks and keep them out of the 3rd and longs donks love to tee off on. Boys d gets another break this week cause they facing another not very good oline and semien not that good of a qb. Yes Dallas playcalling at the goal line questionable at best and always has been w Garrett, this week they will pound it in w zeek. 24-20 Dallas.
