Man, I agree with you! Live by the 3 - die by the 3. If a team can make them - they can compete with less overall talent - but, that style is not consistent. Do not see how that is the coaches fault that the players missed the same shots they made in the earlier games they won.

Honestly, how many people were saying the Rockets were even a playoff team before the season started, let alone a 3 seed? Rockets had a great season with a style of play that doesn't translate into championships at playoff time.

Same story for D'Antoni as always, he has great offenses which translates into reg season wins but when it comes down to playoff ball his shoot happy teams have always got beat by teams with defense.

As good as he's been this yr, Harden wasn't close to the player Nash was for phx under D'antoni.

Both played trash defense but nash sacrificed his scoring to make his teammates better. Something harden will never figure out

I'm guessing because Dantonio is a great coach, they have a lot of returning starters and last season was aberration.
