#38Very terrible. The 87 yr old was returning from visiting his deceased wife at cemetary..at age 87 shouldn't be driving..ever. didn't say her car was a Ford pinto..but a newer vehicle with better u I dated suspension etc could of saved her. Suv probably saves her. Question is well...did 87 yr old stop or was the phone used by her. It's more dangerous then ever.Comment -

#41Definitely the 87 yr old mans fault, he had no right to be out of his house. And for him to be driving is without a doubt, Criminal.Comment -

#42very true. people who visit dead relatives in a cemetery must be desperate for something to do. sitting in a park with stale bread feeding the birds makes more sense.Comment -

#45My grandfather is 94 and drives himself around everyday. Hasn't had an accident or ticket of any kind since he was in his 40s. If my dad felt that he was a safety issue, he would take the car away from him.
Awful for both families to lose a loved one in such a horrible fashion.Comment -

#46Cruel penetrating world. Guy always portrayed himself with class and professionalism and was some great comic sports relief for many fans and coworkers. Definitely came off as someone who was a loyal husband and family man. He's gotta be in a world of hell right now. RIP Mrs Shwami.Comment -

#49That's up in age.. I don't know anyone that age that still drives.. Motor nerves and reflexes are shot, brain doesn't react to immediate driving emergency decisions, could even mistake the gas pedal for the brake pedal...
I've seen a few accidents in my life time involving very old drivers, their fault everytime... in my city I remember an old man hit the gas instead of the brake and plowed into a Farmers Market killing 2 people. Old fart got confused.. I remember that and he must of felt so bad...Comment
