To what end? A draw barely suits them and they aren't going to keep a clean sheet. A loss secures relegation. Might as well go out in a blaze of glory and at least ATTEMPT to score a goal.

Dismayed by the lack of... anything being shown by Boro from an attacking standpoint, but Chelsea this season have not been a team to let up after a goal or two, so hopefully it continues in the 2nd half.

In my experience its this simple, bad teams that meat superior teams park the bus and try to be as disciplined as possible, then after 70 minutes or so they would take more chances to nick it 1-0 if its 0-0 to that point.. Also to avoid super heavy defeats obviously as you your self probably saw in that first half Boro didn't attack that much...But they are 2-0 down so obviously the over 3 could easily hit if they try to get back in the game..
