Why are jazz fans wearing warriors colors?

I was told this when I lived in OKC and the Hornets lived there for a couple of years....when the New Orleans Jazz left for Utah many years ago they took their colors with them and those colors for the organization were associated with the colors of the Mardi Gras and they have kept those colors in there organization since....so it has nothing to fukkin do with the Mormons
