Look up shooting stats nation wide, last I saw 99% of shootings are by males. That's a pretty accurate # most likely for all violent crime. Rapes, assaults, murders, etc..... It's a male problem

Not surprised to see the responses so far, this is a male dominated forum. Sadly too many men are insecure and have zero sense of self-awareness. They're snowflakes and can't look themselves in the mirror for what they really are. Girls are taught from a young age to learn how to protect the fragile egos of young boys. When those boys become men and their feelings get hurt, they act out in violent ways.

It is not exclusively an American problem nor is it all of a sudden a present day problem

Some people aren't wired right and we are animals when it comes down to it instinctively. Evil and/or impulsive people are born every day..add in drugs, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, social media, horrible parenting, bullying, etc etc and it's a recipe for disaster for these "lemons" that weren't born right in the head

I don't think male violence is worse now than back when I was a child and it wasn't abnormal for a man to give his a wife a "slap across the chops" even in public.

But... males today are confused. Being told their base instincts are shameful and wrong constantly. Convincing the world that males are bad and dangerous just re-inforces the thought it cannot be controlled and further imprisons the weak into living in fear. Saying males are dangerous all the time is just as bad for women as men. Worse for them in some aspects.
