I'm in sales. When I was a salesman everyone knew who I was and I got customers and referrals b/c my customers would say ask for the guy in the bowtie. Made me lots of money. Not an attention whore...it's marketing yourself and promoting yourself

In sales as well...Very sharp...Tons of people are practically IDENTICAL in the industry...Need something even as meaningless as a bowtie to stand out....and as silly as it sounds...people will remember that, and it makes a difference..
