Great chart I found...This one doesn't show it but a few others I have looked at based on past season have....To your point JJ, but not 100% accurate you were....

Back in 1980....Canadians made up nearly 82% of the NHL....Today it is 46%

Honestly though...I have only been to Canada a few times...Never been to Edmonton....But last night at the game, we met a bunch of folks from Edmonton, and they were down to earth cool cats....We were down 0-3 with 3 minutes left and we hugged and I congratulated them on their big win, and 2 hours later, they shook my hand and said "very nice, see you in game 6" Class acts

JJ, you need to come out of your closet once in a while. Toronto can afford any sports franchise in the world, including the Barcelona or Man U. We're tier-1 city in North America, with real housing boom - any single house costs about $1m.

Around here people that can't even speak English are becoming overnight millionaires.

Let's put it this way.

I bought my first home for $280000 in 2004. I sold it on 2008 for$360000. That was considered great back then. Now that same home sold for$821000 two weeks ago. Unreal.

I hate when that happens.. I rehab'd a house back in the day and flipped it a year later.. Bought it for $140,000 and sold it for $220,000 20 years ago.. Today that same house is worth 1.5 million.. Wish I held onto it and rented it looking back.. I drive bye that house every once in a while and just shake my head..
