I just have a feeling about this game. I've been down on my Grizz most of the year, especially the last two months or so, but I gotta feeling about this game tonight. No Tony Allen is bad because there goes your number 1 option to stop Kawhi. However, I really think the Grizzlies show up tonight. I know they slipped a lot to end the season, but I really do think they were saving up for what might be the last hurrah for the "core 4." Plus, you have a Spurs team who probably aren't as good as their record, and the Grizz did have success against them this year. Also, you got Marc going up against brother Pau in a playoff series for the first time, and I think Marc is gonna get his. That matchup will be key and when you get motivated, beastmode-level Marc, the Grizz are very tough to hang with.

Not saying the Grizz win this game. They may not win a game this series without Tony Allen checking Kawhi. But I think you get a home run effort out of them tonight.

That would be something if the team defense stepped up in his absence. You never know man. Tony's energy means a lot to this team, and despite all the heat he takes, when he gets significant minutes the Grizz win.

Kawhi is great, a top 3 player but I don't know if allen makes a difference against a player of his caliber. He's the type to get 25 5 and 5 regardless of matchup. His real strength is shutting down anyone on defense from positions 1 thru 4

Right he can have 1 through 4 but what I'm expecting is for Marc Gasol (and ZBo but mainly Marc) to eat eat eat eat MCs for breakfast lunch and dinner.
