I know of a family in NE Minneapolis that has been taking it over the phone and making their own lines since the seventies.

Seems like a lot of work.

I heard a story recently that they stiffed a guy for 1500.

Must not be going well.

I've been with the same local for decades. About 2 years ago he went hi tech and gave me a website account. But they still man the phones every night if needed and I bet on credit. We settle when the account reaches an agreed upon amount, up or down. Have never had a problem.

I have also opened offshore accounts but stopped doing that once Pinny shut us Americans off. They are far and away the best. I can't stand talking to rastamen on the phone, hearing bullshit reasons why I can't collect my winnings that day.

In my opinion, if you play local you go with squaring up at a set amount and not by dates.

no and i never have. i have never had a friend, or coworker who bets on sports so a recc is out of the question. i dont go drinking at bars and i dont know how to play poker either. probably a good thing though that ive never played on credit. I just wish we could go back to 2008 when i first got started gambling on sports. jamaica, greek, etc.

My city mainly runs off locals.....Weird system....short pays on parlays and 3/4's don't know it......Always paid with paypal unless its over 5K then some Italian guy shows up with an envelope......even said congrats nice win when I saw my buddy paid out...

Biggest pressure in world if you have no cash

Many guys I know got nailed in ass because they did not have the cash

Do not worry a Flame Bookmaker has " Pellet Runners" who watch the player and knows where he lives and his daily patterns.

I have known guys that got strapped down by Pellet Runners and The Flamer Bookmaker demolished him every day until he paid or the debt was settled.

I remember when a guy was crying when The Flame was hammering him and kid kept saying" Never again will I gamble and pounding his fists into the ground "

Same deal I have. Guys a former mob guy just living a local life now. Can call him with any issues or if his skin is hanging teaser protection lines to get "right" line for a straight. He's a good guy. Has slow paid a few times (this years Super Bowl was hard on him as well) but it's mostly because he has also never pressured me to pay when I'm at my amount.

as long as i live in california i cant see myself using a local. vegas is close and offshore is fine. id like to see sports wagering legalized across the states though. i spent some time in london a couple years back and loved the easy access to sports wagering
