Could Jordan Speith really win this after taking a 9?
Has anyone ever scored that or higher on a hole and still won the Masters?

He had like 60 holes to make it up, and in his 4th trip to Augusta he has been 1,2 and 2, so yeah,he can win it.

          7 champions have opened with a 74 or 75.
Faldo had a 77 in the 3rd a year he won it.

Think about the 9 as 2 doubles, opening 3 over. Not the biggest deal.
Tiger shot 40 for the first 9 in 1997. Won by 12.

almost won it last year with the quad, and that was with way less time to recover.

Heard on the radio no one has ever won with a quad.

                      We'd much prefer Justin Rose

                      Golf - US Masters
                      Tournament Winner
                      Player to win
                      Justin Rose (+2550) [pending]

Not sure he's going to pull this out as he basically got hot for 7 holes and has been pretty much meh for the other 47, but he's got alot of things going for him in terms of experience etc.
