Sharps get on favs early when they see soft lines. They wait until late to get dogs.

If they believe that the line line will move and affect them negatively, they will bet the line immediately. If they believe the line will move in their favour, they will wait on it.

Let me add, sometimes lines are ""Manipulated" or "Dummied up". Late money can come in late when a sharp group feels they have driven it to "value"
