Improper accounting is the word around here. Someone somewhere was skimming and the Feds caught wind. Same thing happened to Hawaiian Gardens last year. Another glorious day in California poker.

P.s. I'm sure I'm not the only local who wishes it were in Carson, it's no dream city but about 100x better than Bell Gardens where The Bike is located.

Hollywood park is in Inglewood.. It's about to be a football stadium for the Rams.. No more Hollywood Park in other words..

They just built a new casino and it's staying. You should check it out. It's way nicer now.

Really? I haven't been down that way for a while now. I wasn't aware they were gonna keep the Casino up and running.. Cool..

Use to play Poker with an X back in the day in the casino and play the ponies at the track. They had an outdoor concert with Steel Pulse a reggae band playing just about every weekend years ago and I'd hit that up too.. Fun times!!!

Live players have it so easy these days. I remember the years at Hollywood park when it took skill to make money and luck to survive the trip to your car afterwards. Between stickup kids, begging crackheads and angry prostitutes that shit was like walking through a mine field.

just heard the Bike is still shut down btw. Supposed to start back up in the morning.

Jibbby I was just kidding and ribbing Harry a bit. I have lived on the Westside for 20 years and played poker many times at the casino. Used to love the track for dollar beer and dogs on Friday night. I haven't been since the remodel but I have heard good things. Haven't been to HG either since they took down the tent.

I was there 20 years ago.. I was a young buck in my early 20's... I remember it all very well... Wasn't much of a poker player back then so more often then not I was just giving my bank roll to charity back then.
