I'd never heard of Gering (I'm definitely not in the capper loop by any means). I went on Twitter for the first time in 3 years and went to his feed. Seems like a nice enough guy.

Do you hunt through the opening lines looking for pings or is it more of a combination with suspect lines, public backing and line moves that develop later in the day?

I'm rarely awake for openers, unfortunately, but I'm not sharp enough to bet openers anyway. I don't model.

I'm not over thinking this one. Homer Bailey is a total dumpster fire, he's the favorite, Uréna has been ok this year, all the Marlins big hitters are in the lineup and the line is moving against the Marlins.

This is the rare occasion where I feel like I'll beat the pinny close and I don't need to watch the market leading up to first pitch.
