Refs did their job. Gave the two best bigs two fouls for the Zags.Stephens is one of the worst refs. He loves to be seen, and have his name announced.

Frank Mason is like 5'10" and skinny, and all he really does is blow to the basket. He's a slightly inferior version of Sherron Collins, who didn't belong in the NBA, so I have no reason to believe Mason's future would be any different.

We should be ok, but the refs have clearly racked up the fouls on Gonzaga to force Gonzaga to play its bench frequently in the 2nd half and make it competitive because they didn't want to humiliate Chris Mack and have Xavier down by 22 at halftime.

You're insane. He's a great shooter, passer, driver, and leader. His height, and age are the only things keeping him out of the 1st. His D is decent enough because he doesn't take a play off. Your first sentence basically described AI, and he was surely awful.

May be alright, but the Polish beast will get his third quick then Collins his fourth. It should be 20. I like blowouts, not having to sweat for no reason.

Frank Mason is nowhere near Allen Iverson.

Even though AI's 5'11", he is one of the most athletic athletes ever. He could drain 3s, hit 15 footers, explode to the rim, rack up easy steals. Just because Mason looks good against crappy Big 12 backcourts and the slugs on Purdue doesn't mean he'll look good in the league. Mason would get humiliated if he had to go up against Kyrie, Westbrook, or even Lonzo to be honest.

Yep. Fully expecting some backdoor Xavier garbage even though Gonzaga should win by 20+.

Good news is that Collins, a future NBA lottery pick, will be right there to come in and dominate for some easy points.

I'm surprised by the people who actually backed Xavier here. Xavier is not a good team. They might get a backdoor trash cover because of the refs, but winning this game was out of the question.

This is ridiculous. The refs are purposely getting the key Gonzaga players into foul trouble to allow the backdoor to be possible. There's some ulterior motive at work, whether it be TV ratings retention or influencing the outcome of heavy live betting by the Vegas high rollers.
