Never in my life on this earth will a Russian forgive germans for what they have done to my country...it's silly to think, that 50 years can make things right.

I own a house on the outskirts of St. Petersburgh...very nice area with a lot of modern homes....lots of trees, berries and wild mushrooms.
That is also the area where Nazis burned alive almost 60 people...little kids included.

how about I just send you directions to the memorial where kids as little 2 and 3 yo coudldn't come out of the house where Germans put them to? They screamed for help and every time Nazis heard the scream they put more gasoline into the house where the kids were locked up?

That's a terrible barometer to measure discipline. Seriously? The Russians also raped their own women as well during WW1 and 2, there was no discriminating. It was one of the many atrocities of war. Russians were going in with nothing but their bare hands against superior German machine guns in ww2. Not even a knife to a machine gun fight. Don't know how discipline could rly play a factor in that at all.

thank you shady...very tough indeed- he lied about his birthday to get enlisted in the army (added 2 years an changed his birthday) so they would take him.
his mother, my great grandmother received a letter in 1943 that he got killed. She made a little memorial by her house. And in 1945 he came back with a chest full of medals.

His name was Stepan...and he's one the people that saved all of us from the Nazi scum.

Up until his death we celebrated two birthdays for him each year - the real one and the one that he saved us with.
