So sad to hear this. Those of you old enough that saw the catch know what that play did to change football history. God bless Clark in his fight.

Sad to hear. He will always be a legend, but was it worth it? Who knows. Wish him, and his family the best.

History can be so fickle. A few things:

                    1) 3 defenders in Montana's face. Amazing that he could find Dwight, who jumps off a trampoline to catch it. Charlie Waters still thinks Joe was throwing the ball away.

                    2) Still 0:51 after The Catch. Wright makes TD-saving tackle on Drew Pearson on 1st play. Really looks like Cowboys are going to at least get a FG-attempt. On 2nd play, DWhite is sacked, fumble and Game-over.

Really wasn't that great of a catch. Throw was really good though. Overrated in history.

it was not about the catch or throw

when you follow all-the-way through on the ball spike the fukkin game is over, skin

Bernie Kosar makes a joke about Dwight Clark's ALS on local radio

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Former Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar, who's been treated for post-concussion syndrome, made an insensitive joke on Cleveland radio Wednesday about Dwight Clark's ALS diagnosis.

Stopping by WKNR-AM in person and going on The Really Big Show with his good friend Tony Rizzo, Kosar kidded that Clark's ALS might have started back when he was general manager of the Browns from 1999-2002.

"We had a bad weekend with Gale Sayers being diagnosed (with dementia), Dwight Clark with ALS," Kosar said. "I can make a joke about his struggles in picking players when he was here. It almost makes me wonder if maybe it started earlier."
