Ceasars sends $5,000 parlay to back of the line

Friday night, lines are a mile long at the book. I stand patiently in the line nearest the poker room, cash in hand, to parlay the Lakers +6 and Baylor ML.

Line moves slowly but eventually I make it up front. Sure enough there's a sign that says 7 stars and Diamond only. I don't play slots, I play book and BJ, so I'm stuck at Platinum. Average $250/ per online; $500/ per in LV, so this is big for me. Guy actually checks my status card and instead of sending me thru to the window, with my cash in hand, actually escorts me to the end of the peasants line on the other side.

Couldn't F'in believe it.

Walked to Mirage and joined MLife. Told guy my story, he escorted me right to the window. Laid my action, won my bet. Will be good loyal gambler to MGM group now.

There was no markings for the line except at the very end. That being said, I think that a casino should look at the circumstances and not send $5k out the door. Just my opinion.....

I don't play the points here, and check the board periodically for news or different angles and opinions on anything from betting to politics. Certainly not enough solid cappers to tail. The value of being a pro I haven't determined, the ease of becoming pro bastardises the status.

Yeah you're right. The 2 bashed I attended on SBR's dime (probably 1k a trip) plus the 1500 in cards I've cashed far outweighs the $100 a year I donate to a charity that's helps a fellow posters family. Cool story though Pal

The forum is 'sports book review right, topics of sports, gambling and bookies welcome. Why dismiss or undermine a topic or story involving a sportsbook? The bsshes sound like fun but I can take my boat 2.5 hours and be in Key West any time I want, 5 hours to Nassau. The PRO status just signifies a membership, I really wish it'd have more prestige or at least a measured way of tracking or ranking pick posters to be more valuable to those who are more casual with following the board here. Really only see JJ and LT posting daily picks, JJ hovers around 50% and LT is usually solid, thou the wheels have come off a bit here lately. It's be a more interesting designation if it were used to rank and sort picks and trending data.

In Lake Tahoe this weekend at Harvey's (Caesars/total rewards) my buddy and I got a comp room for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night we sit at the same $25 min BJ table for 5 1/2 hours. I gamble just over $1,200 he gambled around $1,400 with $100 to $200 bets mixed in there. Sunday morning we go to the VIP host to ask about comping our resort fees. She says we have $21 in comps total so couldn't waive them. Pack up our stuff, go to the front desk, tell the FD agent we're checking out early and going to Hard Rock next door. She applies the $21 comp credit and charges my credit card $4. Ridiculous. No hospitality what so ever. Thinking about switching to MLife also
