I mean you guys remember me betting Michigan at +800 to win the Big Ten tourney and having a nearly perfect Big Ten tourney bracket on CBS. The thing is, I thought for sure Oklahoma State would cover the +2.5, but I ended up picking them in the Sweet Sixteen in a lot of my brackets even though I knew they were bad because they hadn't been to the Sweet 16 since 2005, have an intelligent coach for once (SFA- Underwood), and Michigan is being incredibly overvalued by people who didn't even know they'd win the B10 tourney.

And, of course, logic plays out and I lose my money on OKST +120, I lose my Sweet 16 team on most of my bracks, and I'm furious because what I knew from a basketball perspective ended up happening. It's really sickening to me honestly. While Evans was pulling up, I immediately said, "Yeah now he'll hit this and I'll regret not taking OSU +2.5".

It's just all around terrible. What a huge $ loss. I'm probably gonna sit out the rest of the day because I'm so rattled and mad that I trusted this stupid OK State team to break some trends and make the public. Well the public did lose, but so did I because I played ML. Fu--!!!! And to think this crappy team was favored -2 against Kansas a few weeks ago (lost but still, they were favored against a fricken 1 seed)

Games don't land on 1 or 2 much at all compared to 3,4, and 5. Laying -2 is nothing to me. Takes an awful break for it to matter

I hate laying vig. To me, the odds of mich winning by 1 or 2 there are not worth the extra 40 cents juice you have to lay.

No way can you convince me that those games land on 1 or 2 enough to make up that juice in long run.

I will never bet a team -1 to -3.5 in basketball for this reason. I will just take ML and pay the juice everytime.

Right. I've been doing this for 20 years now. Vig is something I have come to realize is tough to overcome. In hoops I have started selling points on most games. Same in football. Selling a point or 2 and getting + odds has been what keeps me above water this season
