New Hampshire going to Vermont. One of the conferences
with home court play. No injuries. Vermont should be racking
up the points tonight, probably enough not to play stellar defense
at the end, so the Wildcats get theirs and this manageable total
crosses into the ching zone.

Vermont and New Hampshire can both put the ball in the hoop.
They are capable of scoring upper 70s or even 80s.

But if you look at their schedules, when they played the schools that
like to tie things up, slower styles like Albany and Stony Brook, their totals
dropped. It's therefore about those opponents styles, not about the teams tonight
that emphasize the quick score. Recent games vs MD Eastern Shore and Maine
show what happens when UVM and UNH play their style, as does their own H2H.

That is the theory.

Based on what? Those two teams are two of the slowest paced teams in all of NCAA, ranked 331 and 333 out of 351 in possessions per game.
