In Nashville for weekend - question:
Sitting at honky tonk central now in Nashville. We got good seat right near main stage. For those that have been here more than I have - what would be reason to hit other bars? Atmosphere different? Just here for some drinks, live music, and to watch Blackhawks game tomorrow.

Any advice appreciated. Play to make it worthwhile checking in this thread: Belmont minus this afternoon. Something like 9-4, maybe 10-4 last posted plays in my "sharing wealth" thread.

You going to the Belmont game? It is in Nashville at the Munincipal Auditorium.

Nashville is just a bunch of Bachelorette parties everywhere I think.

Your right about bachelorette parties. It's not even 4pm yet here so know ratio will change but easily 3:1 chics:dudes right now. Ages all over place. Mid 20s to 40s. Incredible.

I was there last fall for a convention and not at all into country music. We hit all the popular spots between Fri and Sat night but if you aren't into country check out the Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar, best live music we experienced all weekend.

The fact this is a thing may indicate a bigger drinking problem in the states. Good lord. http://irevivenashville.com/nashvill...ation-therapy/

And the humidity will wear your ass out if you aren't used to it.

When visiting Nashville always abide by the tuck rule.
Tuck tour jeans into your boots and wear your shirt untucked.
                        Have fun, newguy

If I recall, it's right across the street from the hockey arena. Live music upstairs gets a little rowdy, good atmosphere and good drinks.

You are correct sir. Have hit honky tonk central, tootsies, and tin roof so far. Good
Places. Stopping in hotel now to change and head to dinner.
