It does taste different. Suspicious that US beef may not be quite as 'natural' though.

I never can understand the long lines at shake shack. It's way overpriced. The burgers are delicious but the fries suck.

5 guys burgers just as good and fries are a lot better.

Both places are overpriced though

We think we have the best quality meat in the world but US beef tastes different. Better to me.

Australian style burgers have toasted buns, not steamed like most US places do them, and are really quite different overall.

American Hot Dogs are different too. Much better than the crappy things that pass as hot dogs down here.

I think US has to do fast food better though as it's mind blowing just how many fast food joints can be located all next to each other sometimes.

Drove into Victorville CA and it was like entering a forest of big fast food joint signs. Must have been 15+ different places all within a mile or so of each other. You'd never see that down here. They would all go broke.

not a big fan of steamed buns..much prefer toasted

Even spent a night there! Would have preferred to meet up with some guys off the forum that night but they went to smoke on me so I just headed toward Vegas, trying to follow old route 66, and that's where I found myself when I wanted to eat and sleep.
