Now I'm not saying that any particular method is better but I noticed most guys here always bet faves. You can't win long term laying juice. I don't care what numbers you run. A couple of dog wins cover so many loses. Book's laugh at juice players. They reload the most.

It's psychological for me. My brain says the favorite must be a favorite for a reason, so must be better.

A guy has to have a good reason a dog will win.....

a lot of times books put a fav as a dog to pull money for the real dog.

The biggest problem I see is most guys like small to medium faves. Those plays appear to be the easiest money to the average joe.

Think the answer is because people may think Dog A has a SHOT at winning but it isn't more than 50% so why am I going to risk my money on something that more than likely loses? Kind of an instant gratification thing possibly. Nobody wants to bet +200 dogs even if they may win the play 4/10 times or more. Still have 6 losing wagers that they have to process mentally

Until you've been buried more than a few times by dog days/nights, most guys won't clue in or will still continue to chase on a favourite.

more dogs lose but if you can find ones that have a shot to win on any given night you will always hang in there

This is my problem. I take the ML when it's like -160 to -175ish so I don't have to lay the points. Usually should just take the damn points. Or if my BR is high I'll lay massive juice thinking easy money. Though, I've learned if I'm not confident enough in the team covering then to lay off. I try to switch it up, and take the points in those situations now.
