I think they have to take Lonzo, even if they end up with the #1 overall pick. He's from the LA area, plays at UCLA, and he's the type of player they would lock up for the next twenty years, so they could really market him as the face of the Lakers.


DeAngelo is probably a bust anyway, and they could at the very least attempt to move him over to SG since he was regarded as a positionless guard coming into the NBA.

It isn't about if he is proud or has faith in his son, all parents do. It is not 1984 anymore, he doesn't have to tell me his son is good, we can all watch his son play every night on tv. Pretty sure everyone knows that has eyes. Guy is just making himself look like an asshole.
