Went down to the Union Hall today & signed back up. It's been 15 years & I never finished getting my license. Gonna go back to school & get my ticket & finally work on some kind of future for me as they offer full benefits & a nice pension package. Been working non-union wage the last 13 years & these illegals have took over the this industry. The wage is totally s h i t & they work harder than me with a smile on their face getting paid penny's. I'm not doing it anymore & I'm done with the pay cuts non-union work offers. Even though 75% of the work in South Florida is non-union it just doesn't offer me a future. My gambling career is over it lasted just over a year & I went bust.Comment -

Jerk, I wasn't posting much last month and didn't follow this thread, what ended up being the record ATS in this thread? If you get a winning expectation, even plays like the last 4 pick against the spread can eventually show profit, it's just more volatile.
Your first post says it all...you know the bet size was too high. You also mention being lazy as far as working hard for money.
Make no mistake, beating the market long term is hard work. When things are going well it seems easy and you can look and feel smarter than you are. When they go bad, you can look and feel dumber than you are.
It's a very tough thing and certain hard work to stay the course for the long haul.

One thing's for sure, it's easy to burn out both physically and mentally in all types of work.
Bad streaks make us appreciate money management that much more. In fact, you can learn more about money management in a bad streak than you can about correcting the handicapping. Even good handicapping has bad streaks, but betting too much, or different amounts, makes it hurt more no matter the handicapping.
