i definitely dont think wentz is backup quality, and think he will have a good career as a starter. however you did quite the job cherry picking stats, almost as many ints and a qb rating of 80... could have had a better rookie year. i still think he will be fine though

philly....i would say save the money as i'm not that big of an NBA fan anymore. however, i've never been to a finals game, so i'll take you up on that offer.

Here are Wentz's stats and his ranking in NFL

Pass Yards - 3,782 which is 18th in the NFL
Pass Yards per Attempt - 6.2 which is tied with Blake Bortles for 49th in the NFL
TD - 16 which was tied with Kaepernick for 25th in the NFL
INT - 14
QB Rating - 79.3 which is 39th in the NFL
Let's also not forget his 14 fumbles which they only lost 3

For comparison, Sam Bradford has the same receivers last year and had 3,725 pass yards, YPA of 7.0, 19 TD 14 INT and a QB rating of 86.4. Yet he was garbage and ran out of town.

Just because a team is desperate and willing to be completely fleeced, does not mean the player acquired is good. By your own admission he is a clown that didn't make the playoffs, which furthers my point Wentz is not good.

If he did better than Wentz with the same players, I fail to see how Wentz is the second coming of Christ.

Magic johnson will make a few calls. The lakers will get a top 3 this year and non top 3 next year. Lol.

Although the Nba owes sacramento the top pick since they allowed the robbery of cousins.

But no matter what philly def can be a top team in the east. Need to get a good free agent or 2 also. Only if there was a way to clone a young iverson. They would be set.

Right now, Yes Bradford is a better QB than Wentz. That doesn't mean I would want Bradford over Wentz, as Wentz is young and has the potential to grow while Bradford is as good as he will ever be.
