Miami @ (#18) Virginia over 117

This total seems a bit low even for these two teams. Virginia coming off probably the most embarrassing loss in Tony Bennett's reign at Virginia and I expect to see Perrantes and company put up some offense for the home crowd. Miami has guards that can drive the ball which has been a major problem for UVA of late, either scoring, getting fouled, or kicking it out for the 3.

Both of these teams are good from the line, both shooting 71% and I can anticipate there being some fouls in this one as both schools have played several games in the past 8 days. Bottom line is if these two teams shoot any kind of percentage from the field this total should go over. All recent games between the two have been play in the mid 120s or higher. Call me crazy but I think we actually see a mid 130s type game. I wouldn't be surprised if Virginia explodes for well over 70 points after being completely embarrassed on Saturday night.

With this low of a total any outburst of scoring or if refs decide to call numerous fouls in any half, it will be hard to keep the game under.

in the 6 ACC home games they are giving up 57 a game, and average 66 ppg, so the average score is still played in the 120s

GT and VT only two teams that failed to score 50 points

Ya you too, I can't see Virginia losing 4 straight, just am banking on them coming out hitting shots after missing damn near everything against UNC. If they post in the 70s I will be happy because then I will have a winner.

Maybe i will bet the under if i get a good live line. There is no way i can take the over and then watch these guys passing the ball around to take a contested 3 or get a shotclock violation. I wish they had a 24 second shotclock, this is just awful to watch with these teams.

GL lock, could easily end up a slow pace where shooters struggle. Just like this play after watching UVA struggle so much at Carolina. Can't see it happening twice especially since UVA knows they have to pick it up offensively going forward to have any chance to do anything in March. UVA should be on top of their game losing 3 straight. I think it goes over unless the refs allow both teams to hand check and hold like in the past. Foul shooting will be key.

I completely feel their offense will be playing better and the game pace will pick up...I just have been burned in the past with low totals going under...Like that feeling when its too good to be true...I'm throwing a C-note on the over...best of luck my man !

I think it was just line movement. Nothing I can find. For the last week I have been seeing this on many games. Wish I knew the explanation.

probably the fact that Miami has played UVA very tough, last season all the games came down to the end

I doubt that, wouldn't really make sense to fade them at home. I mean 3 of the 4 losses they suffered were road games in this slump. UVA different team at home, although getting 10 with the way the hoos have played in 2nd halves lately wouldn't be a bad play. One would think if UVA was going to get up for any game it would be this one to stop the bleeding with what I would imagine will be a sell out crowd

The thing I feared is happening. Refs are calling this game like 2 years ago. They let defensive players do whatever and don't call any fouls that would get called in any other game.
