Spurs, Rockets and Lakers/Suns over for me today..

Both the Spurs and Rockets lost to these bottom dwellers a while back and payback is now in order.. Good teams usually respond to bad loses.. 10 points spreads won't matter either. Spurs handle Orlando in Orlando, then later Houston D's up and puts the beat down on Miami....

Lakers shot like crap last night, I expect a full turn around going on the road and playing in Phoenix now.. Suns can score and will put up big numbers at home tonight.. Suns offer up little defense as well..

Looking to rebound after yesterday.. Let's see how this goes tonight?

Take a look at Furman -10 at Western Car tonight. They're leading their Conf and already beat WC by 48 last month. Furman has won 9 in a row and has 3 guys that average dd. WCar only has 1. The line was -14 when Furman pounded them last month. Today it's -10 (I assume 4 points for homecourt). I think Furman wins by 20. It's only a 1.5 hour bus trip, hardly even a road game.

Saints beat me to it. This is my play of the day as well. Furman does not have the highest covering percentage, but more importantly, when they do cover, they have one of the highest cover margins in the league at 7+ points. Furman -10 all the way

Here's my insight and some statistical trends after looking at some of the NCAAB games tonight.

Wichita State -13
Shockers covered 4 of the last 5 against Southern Illinois with an average spread of -14.7 pts. I believe they are better than their ranking (so does kenpom), but we see this all the time. Lower conference schools not getting credit then all of a sudden they blow up when tournament time comes.

Iowa State +4.5
Cyclones have covered 3 straight against Kansas State as favorites, now they are getting 4.5 pts. Expect a close game.

Indiana State/Loyola-Chicago o139
The total has gone OVER in the last 7 previous meetings between these two teams. Also, Indiana St has gone over in 16 of 24 games this year and Loyola-Chicago has gone over in 15 of 21 games this year.

Providence has been undervalued all year, 7-1 ATS their last 8 ... 4-2 ATS at home since beginning of January... they've had to fight back from a 3-6 start in Big East play (though 5 of the first 9 games were on the road and four were versus top-25 teams). They're a strong team playing at home (47.0% FG shooting at home, 39.1% from 3pt...) vs. a banged up Xavier team who beat them handily last time they played- but that was before multiple injuries to key Xavier players (including Edmond Sumner- ACL, and Trevon Bluitt who is doubtful for tonight).

I like the read on Furman and the info, looking into it...

Is this a joke? The more I read people looking for -50 GSW lines, the more I like this play.
Do you really think golden state is fully recovered from their recent road trip? They were totally gassed in Denver, and there haven't been many days to recover since then. They may have enough in the tank to secure a win, but by 18 points?? LOL
Even in the case they come out on fire, do you think if they are up 20 after 3 they will keep playing all their starters?
Either way this is a very generous line and I will take it. Good luck to those who tail.

I know the Warriors lost by 5 points a week ago to Sac at Sac, and I also know you gotta think the Warriors are looking to rebound hard after that last humiliating loss at Denver.. Warriors last 5 games..

Thanks Donk, it's still a long shot even with the 3 point lead at half.. Warriors did stack their team with KD this year and I hate them now too, well tonight anyways.... Lol..

Keep an eye on Trevon Bluitt status for Sat night against Marquette, the Xavier guys are wearing down playing 40 minutes a game without it's 2 stars ... obviously the line will account for that but look for value either way...
