No plumlee for the blazers and they're starting Leonard tonight. Leonard is one of the softest big men you'll ever see in the NBA. Portland's other bigs including Noah V. and Ed Davis are way too small to contain Howard. Howard is going to destroy all of them down low on lobs, rebounds, putbacks, in the post, everything. I would not be surprised to see him go for 25 and 20 tonight against Portland.

Hawks are on the 2nd of a 3 game road trip. Howard just played 32 minutes the 1st game. He might not play that much tonight. In February he's scored the following:

6,11,10,11,24, 6. The 24 point game came against Houston, so he was no doubt motivated for that one.

I see why they put this prop up because it's a coin flip. Dwight is averaging 13.5 points a game this year. Last year he played Portland 4 times and scored 19,28,17, and 7.

Good counters, but props are up everyday, for every main player, for every game. They're never not up unless there are some big injuries going on. They didn't put this prop up because it's a coin flip. They put it up because it's part of why people play at their book.

Lines for props are set off player averages. They're usually not based off matchups or anything like that. It's strictly off player averages, and if the books think it'll be a very high scoring game, they might bump a superstars points like a Durant or Harden or Westbrook up by 1 point, but nothing more than that. It's up to us to analyze the matchup and find an edge.
