Punta Cana or Cancun?

Looking for a week vacation in the carribean..

Punta cana or Cancun?
2 single guys looking to enjoy the sun and fun!

Been to punta cana but never Cancun. Do both have sports book casinos throughout? Heard Cancun is very Americanized which to me isn't necessarily a good thing.

Cancun seems more fast paced while punta cana seems more laid back?

What's everyone's thoughts and insight? Thanks!

throw bahamas in there as it also has a sportsbook and a casino. i would do punta or bahamas before cancun

Neither. Aruba. But if I'm picking between Cancun and Punta Cana, then Punta Cana.

Don't do a shitty $80/person resort in punta. Spend the money and do the $250/person resorts
