So, why don't we buy a craps table - put in uncle Eddie's library - and practice - practice - practice! Become a master of the preset after the point is etablished - you pitch em - I will be the gorilla playing this strategy and putting the big lumber on the odds.

There re is no way to beat this game unless you can preset the dice and throw them perfectly. No strategy and no get lucky tactic exists. But, there is nothing better than a hot table and everybody yelling and making money. Just one golden arm - that is all we need.

There is a casino in San diego (Sycuan), which uses cards but it is the closest thing i've seen to real craps in California. They have a section of the table which has every value of the dice printed on the table 1-6. They also have 6 cards, each depicting one of the dice values 1-6. These get shuffled and matched with the table print 1-6. Shooter throws real dice and the value is read. A dealer then pushes whichever cards are matched with the shooters roll, and that is the roll. The cards are always face up, so everyone can have an idea of what they want vs what they don't want. Every now and then the cards get matched up with the same values on the table print. When that happens, you are playing real craps just like in Vegas.

You would not believe how many times at the hard rock where I saw people walking up to the craps table dropping money on the pass line when the point was already established. Even on points 4 and 10. I try to tell them they should just bet the box number instead and they'd look at me like I was crazy or they say they don't care. Unreal!

One guy walked up and put a 5k chip on the pass with the point of 4 already established. 4 hit and he would have made 2-1 minus the juice instead of 1-1.

Guy says "I don't care, I play 5k a hand BJ"

Last year I was in Vegas for my brother's bachelor party and I did this on accident. I was so drunk I didn't realize the point had already been established. I won the bet but felt like a complete tool

They never push you a seven, I've seen guys throw a fit cause the stick man isn't paying attention and pushes them a 4/3. I've seen the pit boss palm switch dice after one left the table and he "inspected" the die, guy immediately 7'd out. There's definitely some funny dice on the table at all times. I usually throw them all against the side till I see two roll boxcars, them pick them.
