It is true that lines for NCAABask tournament are ridiculously deep in Vegas. Have seen similar after SuperBowl, if a lot of guys getting payouts.

And you don’t have to be in Nevada if you set it up correctly. I left a tablet in Vegas and remoted in from my PC and made bets wherever I was in the world.

The lines at books in strip casinos will be 100 deep with broke dikk fukks and $5 parlays.

And....from experience, even if you are holding the cssh to drop $2500 on a bet, unless youve got that 5stars card, they will still send you to the back of the line.

That said, ill be out there w my buddies as well, but going to try off strip soorts book.

I stayed at the Wynn a month ago and played at their book. It's very nice. I was a little annoyed that I had to make a fukkin reservation to sit and watch some games though. That seemed a little lame but I understand why. I will prepare accordingly for this trip. Hopefully the pool is open and I will just get a cabana with TV's and bet on the app.

Did you sit in VIP or just in the general seating? I haven't been there in a couple months but last time I was there you could sit anywhere other than VIP, and if you went at the right time you could sit there if you ordered food from Charlie's.

I saw a chick running a rope just to get in there. Book was deserted during the New Orleans/Carolina game. Keeps the riff-raff out, but also turns people away. Encore book is small, but ok.

The best sportsbook in Vegas, the Westgate, is non-smoking.

I know Luxor and Venetian is as well.

what's it like going to some of the actual games during conference week?

i think vegas = P12, MWC, WCC and WAC... my memory is that WCC runs mostly the week before the other 3 (probably share a venue with one of those tourney)... would love to see the Big West there for some years.

do almost all the conferences have tourneys? off-hand i can think of one that doesn't but i don't know too much about this.

Get the app of casino and you wont regret(takes about 5 minutes), then you can bet with your phone no matter where you are in Vegas. I was in Vegas for the Super Bowl and dropped off my money at Westgate and they had all 240 props on app. Line were a mile long and I just had a little smile on my face. Monday went to pick up my Monday and they had a special window open for app bettors. I walked right up to window and collected my money while people were waiting at least 40 minutes to collect. Greatest thing since slice bread
