I know they already got Embiid so they don't need Okafor anymore but Okafor has the potential to be a very good player in the NBA. Most players that get drafted in the first round don't really do shit tbh. Few guys come along. I hope they get a high pick at least and draft a quality guard.

I'd think New Orleans would want their 2017 pick to be protected as they have the 5th worse record in the league right now......I completely disagree with anyone who things this guy has potential.....plays no defense at all....huge liability on the court

Guessing top 3 would be protected.

Hinkie would have made this deal. He was going to keep drafting and trading until he had a star at 3 positions. They might be too good now with Embiid and Dario finally getting on the court.

Okafor is bad but still a big upgrade over ASik or Ajinca. Pelicans have been playing guys out of positon and playing too small because they have worst centers in the league.

Al Jefferson always been a horrible defender. Guy had a great career. I envision a similar career for Okafor. Not many players come into the NBA and are good. It's like 5 guys every year. Okafor can be a good solid play. Most 1st round picks are swings and misses.

This deal is just a rumor.

I personally would take a rack of balls for Okafor. I remember when I was saying that he sucked the day the Sixers drafted him and people thought I was crazy.

Guy can score in the low post, but his game is too outdated to be a star.

probably best suited off the bench in a 20 minute roll.

Dario? Not a star. Solid player though. Okafor will have a better career than him.
