Floyd avoided the real fighters, Paz, Duran, Camacho,

I admit he selected certain opponents at the right time but he beat solid fighters. Diego Corrales was favoured in that fight. Floyd beat Castillo twice, Hatton was undefeated and the #1 140 lb'er in the world at the time. Genaro Hernandez, some others. Alvarez was too green and got schooled but he's clearly the biggest draw in the sport today, and technically still the lineal MW champion.

De La Hoya's resume was impeccable and he fought everyone and ducked no one. He also should have beat Trinidad, his fault for running the last 3 rounds, and was robbed against Mosley in their 2nd fight.

Mayweather has almost always been sure to have the reach adv. but not here. It's huge in MMA but even bigger in boxing. Are you serious??? Do you really think a 2" advantage is going to make a difference over hand speed, foot speed, defensive skills, etc.? Floyd is the most skilled boxer ever in the history of the sport. Do you really think 2" is the key here?
