That's really sad. I never had a problem with the guy, and he could be pretty funny....even in the middle of some of the battles. Hopefully he is all good wherever he is.

When I take my 3-6 month breaks from this joint I am always amazed at how much has changed, yet has stayed the same.

He didn't just stop posting and logging in. He abruptly stopped answering texts as well out of the blue. We talked every raceday and then all the sudden he disappeared.stared asking "are u even alive?" No response

I still remember how easily he would bury posters like JayVegas and CWD (as you can probably tell by this clown's post count spike in this thread- he definitely still feels the pain of those burials to this day).

No a dumb question at all, because I didn't know his name. Lol. I always just called him Vegas. We never talked always just texted back and forth. And then out the blue he just never responded again. After a few months of asking if he was ok and not a single response I just gave up. Was just out of the blue he was gone. I thought he maybe gave up NASCAR betting and just ignored me but when I can even back here and looked for him he had been gone forever here too I noticed. Hope he is ok

Me and VegasDave go way back

I mean our e-battle history dates back to 2010 at coverss. He had me banned there. He then joined here under a different name, Vegas39. Big LA Kings fan and Nascar fan. Seeing him go balistic at me was amusing but we both knew there were no real hard feelings. At the end of the day, forums are an alternate reality with made up names and fake personalities hiding behind a screen. I heard he got banned, guess wasnt the case. Vegas39, if you read this, I hope all is well, I hope you are still hating the Leafs as much as you always did, and I hope i gave you many opportunities to rant and relieve your frustrations.
