He's right on this one though. Poor leadership from Butler/ Wade. Throwing their rookies/ sophs under the bus because they can get away with it.

Was surprised to hear Wade make those comments. Not surprised about Butler. He's Hollywood wannabe and also does whatever his master Wade does

Rondo is a POS but might actually be in the right on this one.

Bringing in Wade was a horrible idea.

Bulls need to blow the team up.

Coach Fred Hoiberg said he has talked to and texted with Dwyane Wade since the Bulls plunged into rebuilding mode with the June 22 trade of Jimmy Butler and doesn't envision a buyout scenario before the season starts.

"As of right now, no. I don't see that," Hoiberg said. "Dwyane is going to have an important role on this team with having a mentor. He's going to obviously play for us and hopefully play well and take the role of leadership, which is a very important one."

Wade exercised his $23.8 million option a week before his June 27 deadline. As Wade vacationed in Europe with his family, speculation swirled about his future after the Butler deal. Executive vice president John Paxson stated that any buyout talks would have to be "advantageous" for the Bulls.

Hoiberg said he planned to visit soon with Wade, 35, who said last season he'd prefer not to be part of a rebuilding situation at this stage of his career. Hoiberg wouldn't speculate on how he would handle the shooting guard minutes if Wade remains on the roster when Zach LaVine returns from his left ACL tear.

"I haven't really thought about that," Hoiberg said. "The short amount of time we've gotten to know Zach, he's such a good quality person. I've talked to a lot of people in Minnesota about the competitor he is. He's a worker. He's got leadership potential. He's been terrific."

Cleveland, San Antonio and Miami are in the hunt for his services. OKC may have interests as well.

Wade averaged 18.3 points, 3.8 assists and 4.5 boards last year. Not bad
