Coming from Boston, with really no CBB to cheer for, I was a Tar Heel fan from the late 70s going forward, and always
rooted against Duke. Of course, it has not been the same since Coach Smith departed.

mcdonalds all americans? all on one team. there is only one ball and those kids probably were the star on their high school team and now most don't get to even touch the ball. 4 or 5 of them must be muttering to themselves "why did i sign here, i'll never get an NBA contract sitting on the bench or only playing 8 minutes. i should have take the alcorn state or vanderbilt offer. then i'd get noticed and drafted".

There are 24 per year, for 351 NCAA teams. Duke had 7 on the roster when they won it all in 2015.

the guy did have a good run. but it's over for him. old and frail time for retirement. no NBA team would want him. outdated coaching style.
