Steelers were also 6 seed that year Hawks a 1 seed so I don't think it's the same.

I think public was on Pit for that one. The seattle coach said the next day "I didn't know we would have to play against the refs too" or something to that nature.

It was a blatant rig job like none other to send off Bettis into retirement. Worst I've ever seen in my lifetime. Brady should be coming back next year, right? Though, he made a vague comment that seemed to indicate if he wins that he may go out on top.

Refs went back and basically said they cost Seattle that game.

Wasn't Denver -3 a few years ago when they lost to Seattle. Pretty sure public was all over Denver.

I forget what it closed but remember it being more like a 1 or 2 point spread. That was the easiest bet of all time.

You should rewatch that one. I was a teenager working at KMart so had nothing on it. Sitting in the electronics department doing nothing, I couldn't believe my eyes.

I would say this game looks more like the New England/Carolina game.

Same stadium and everything.

Look for an explosive second-half.

Definitely a better comparison. Though, I don't think it's a FG game. Falcons win straight up, maybe by a FG but beside the point, or Pats by a TD or so.

Well a lot of people on here (not saying any names) saying that the pats have cake walk to the bowl this year and let's wait one minute because that Seattle team played two wild card teams to go to the Super Bowl win a rather pedestrian defense

Yeah don't remember saying that they weren't shafted in that game... was just making the observation that they weren't the most deserving to come out of the NFC because of the fact that they only played wild card teams. But yes, let's move on because that doesn't win us any money on this years game

The comparison I was making from Pitt -3 VS Seattle

Pitt won easily... being a slight favorite.

New England -3 VS Atlanta... (Could New England Win Easily?)

Not saying we know the outcome....

I was just always astonished how Pitt -3 easily won... and Seattle got screwed.

I have no idea who was a favorite between New England VS Carolina? My brain is fried.

Dude Brady is gonna play till he's 45. Literally. You think he's gonna settle if he gets 5 rings? F no. The only players that even think about this are guys who are washed up. Brady is still the best in the league right now.
