This could be one of the most awkward moments in sports history.

#15Actually you're an idiot. go read what came out of the 2006 lawsuit from Carl Mayer. It was tossed out on the grounds that sports are entertainment and not actual competititon. I doubt you've got the brains to figure this out, but it's a fact. The supreme court essentially ruled that football is entertainment on par with WWE and is open to manipulating storylines and outcomes. Now, it's still illegal for an individual to be involved in point shaving to financially benefit himself. But, that same player can do so legally on the leagues orders. There is a reason hundred million dollar contracts are a part of sports. and it's not because they're worth that. It's hush money. plain and simple

no they wouldnt fix that. They wouldnt make sure peyton manning gets a super bowl in his last season, ray lewis, jerome bettis. As much as people think this year is some sort of revenge tour for the pats its more like the nfl couldnt come out and say they were wrong about deflategate but they sure could do their best to make sure a super bowl goes back to new england. So instead of retirement super bowls this year its the "im sorry" super bowl. the league is a jokeComment -

#17not a chance. Deflategate stops getting talked about if they win a super bowl. The nfl doesnt want people to talk about it anymore and new england fans are the loudest and hold the biggest grudges of any fans in the nfl. Just like spygate. Once a super bowl is won the chatter quiets downComment -

If sports are fixed then why did some of the greatest and MOST POPULAR PLAYERS in history never win rings? It was fixed for the Bills to lose 4 straight superbowls? It was fixed for Iverson and MccGrady and Barkley and Malone never to win rings? It was fixed for the Pistons to beat the star studded Laker team that would have give Malone a ring before he retired and a Peyton-Manning-esque send off? Why did Lebron suffer so much before he won a ring? Did the refs have a remote control to control the free throws that Leonard and Ginobli missed at the end of game 6, and then Allen to hit the 3 at the buzzer for the tie? Because they were carting out the trophy for the Spurs -- carting it out -- literally. Was that part of the script too?
I can name 100 -- no, 1,000 -- other example to disprove your stupid theory.
What a dumb post. I honestly cannot even believe anyone would compare the NFL to the WWE. What a loser you must be in real life.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -
