whenever I handicap the Superbowl, I always ask myself which team was more impressive?...and who did they beat?...the Pats beat Houston and Pittsburgh...the Texans are god awful on offense and truth be told, if not for a 98yd kickoff return for a TD and sorry ass Osweiler throwing 3 int's, this game would have come down to the final possession...consider the fact that the Texans were extremely lucky to be there in the first place because of Derek Carr's injury and the Raiders being forced to play scrub Connor Cook at QB...Pitt had been shaky on the road all year long and it finally caught up to them at Foxboro...horrible playcalling by Mike Tomlin sealed the Steelers fate early...Big Ben was throwing ducks all night long...clearly not himself and not 100%....bottom line, New England was given a pass to the Superbowl...they are still legit and very capable, but this team is very beatable without Gronk.

In the NFC, Atlanta whopped two great teams...Seattle and Green Bay...one perennial powerhouse and the other the hottest team in the league with runner up MVP QB Aaron Rodgers (next to Matt Ryan)...yes, the Pack had injury issues but they've had players and starters hurt throughout the year...they were on a 6 game winning streak and A-Rod was looking invincible....to slaughter a team like Green Bay is very impressive regardless of the situation...nothing fluke about that...and ditto for Seattle...a very experienced and well coached team with all-pro QB Russell Wilson at the helm...a team with recent success and championship pedigree....being as objective as possible, I'd say Atlanta is the better team and they have won me some a lot money this year as have the Pats for that matter...but this Falcons team has that look of destiny to them...Matt Ryan playing lights out and that offense is almost unstoppable...their defense has its flaws but they have picked it up in the postseason when it matters most...My prediction: Atlanta (+3)......PS...I'm not even going to try and get cute by playing the ML...Bad things happen to greedy people...even though i think the Falcons win this game SU, I will gladly take the 3 points just in case...

Only way I was taking Atlanta ML was if it went from +3 to +2.5 and the ML got juiced to the magical +138. Went from +135 to +130 at 5dimes.. cause for concern. New England ML and Under are the plays (small atl parlay +3.5 and under) for the hedge)

Definitely similar to the 2 losses IMO........Patriots were the better team, got outplayed in the trenches, and all the luck
went against them.

ATL had the better players for sure. But the Pats needed 8 things to go perfect for them in the 2nd half. They got them all. ATL also got out coached. 2-0 in T.O,s up 28-3, with the ball in FG range to go up 11. Stupid as shit.

This is how I felt when the Pats lost those 2 to the Giants.
