Momentum carrying the ball player into the endzone would not be ruled a safety. Did he get the ball and roll into the endzone? I think that's the fact the refs are looking at when making that decision.

Probably why there isn't much discussion.

If he gave himself up it should have been the Falcons' ball on the 1. I'm guessing the refs called that his momentum brought him into the end zone.

Packers have a missed 41 yard FG... a fumble while the ball carrier was rumbling into the Falcons redzone and now incomplete pass on short 3rd and 2

it's not like the Falcons are owning them but the strip for the fumble was good! the 3rd down blitz that lead to the missed FG (only due to Rodgers staying up long enough to throw the ball away) was a good blitz too

they need to get a FG b4 half and be down 3-17 since they get ball first 3rd quarter
