Coach Dan Quinn said Jones had no limitations in his first practice since aggravating his sprained left toe last week. Jones did not appear to favor the foot in the portion of the practice open to reporters.

“We were pleased with his response and how quickly he came back and had good bounce,” Quinn said. “He ran hard, jumped, so he looked good.”

You guys make me laugh. This is an NFC Championship game
in front of his home fans. Atlanta is playing a weak backfield
and you think Jones is just going to be a decoy.
You didn't watch his practices and are calling Quinn a liar.
Also underestimate his hunger for the ball and Matt's love
of throwing it to him, especially in this game.

yeah why would a coach tell the press his stud WR is hurting and isn't a 100% when he had to leave a game 4 days prior with an aggravation of the injury

You guys he had this toe problem since early December, took his time out
and it was healing - yes he left the last game early with a little rub on it
but that's because he's saving his best body for THIS GAME.
THIS is an NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, people. Jones and his doctors
have been getting him ready for THIS GAME. If you ever played sports
you would know that the tournament takes all priority. He could have played
the whole game vs. Seattle but it wasn't necessary. Today he will shine
and get plenty of targets, this bet will win and it will win early like most
of my props.

"No effect at all," Jones said when asked how the injury would affect him against the Packers.

I'm glad you won but be careful believing anything an NFL coach tells the press in the future. 9/10 times it's a lie. And Julio was a decoy most of the snaps but if the decoy is not being defended Matty Ice is obviously still getting him the ball anyways.

I take that into consideration, the reference was only a retort to the naysayers,
and it was corraborated by Jones practice form and own statements, yesterday
I won all NFL bets, I will wait until I see the props for the SB before doing any
heavy capping. Both Falcons and Pats deserve much respect, you won't see me
posting ad nauseum for two weeks about an early lean like most.
