He and Andrew Wiggins were together at Kansas....makes you wonder how that team didn't win the title. Embiid at Kansas had the rep of being soft and being a baby with his back. Many around these parts are shocked he's developing into the player it seems he's becoming.

Embiid got hurt in March and didn't play in the tourney.

Philly has been winning close games lately.. They pull away even in close games.. That team is the most improved in the NBA as far as I'm concerned..

I bet them tonight and they are struggling abit against Portland.. Down a few with 4 minutes to go.. If they pull the win off it will just confirm what I'm saying..

Philly still gets Ben Simmons back soon who could be really damn good as well. Trade Okafor for a solid wing or guard and they're in business

I always liked the way they went about the "process" thing.....why not go boom or bust?

now they have a great future while mediocre teams are still mediocre

Philly is a sleeper team right now in the NBA.. Cellar team found some life.. I don't have much confidence in cellar teams but this Philly team caught my eye.. They are now finding ways to win close games against better teams on paper..

Allen Iverson, Eric Snow, Aaron Mckie are all rolling over in their graves right now..

Practice, practice>>>.. .. I remember the one man show..

Covington can ball too. So much talent on that team. Hope they can put it all together rather than waste it like the T'wolves

Allen Iverson, Eric Snow, Aaron Mckie are all rolling over in their graves right now..

I will always believe that if Iverson had good or a great player on his team in his first couple of seasons he would have been a top 10 best basketball player ever. But it was always just him, and it forced him into becoming a ball hog.

Not only that but if A.I. would have taken better care of his body overall and really but in the work he would have been up there with Kobe and Jordan for sure.. He didn't even practice as much as he should have.. Dude was still unstoppable in his prime..

One of jr smiths uncles told me back when jr was on denver with melo that Iverson would knock back shots of Hennessy at halftime and play drunk alot in the 2nd half of games in Denver. He was putting up ridiculing stats as well. Shows u the pure talent that Iverson was and makes u wonder how good could he have been if he approached the nba with a professional mentality
