The latest information I see is that Nelson has been downgraded to doubtful with injury to the ribs.

He hasn't been expected to practice this week and was in the hospital for a at least two fractured ribs.

Ribs are a tough one in football and doubtful really sounds like like he's out, but the Packers won't list it that way.

Nobody took any swipes at you. Jordy at the end of the year is much different than he was in the beginning. He has certainly taken the top off the defense later in the season as he has recovered from the surgery.

I can only imagine how hard it would be to play any NFL position with broken ribs (especially if there is a high pain level).

All the padding and cushion in the world may help when you get hit, but every breath and every motion you need to do will be affected...no matter how tough you try to be.
